oic thanks! but i couldn't even find netflix in google play. when i install manually, netflix apk says device not supported by apps?!

because device/rom/region not whitelisted by Netflix

For those with global model, don't worry first, the redmi note 7 global also didn't have HD Netflix until like in a future firmware uodate

anyway not important, don't watch on mobile as i use my tablet for watching netflix

got note 8 6gb+128gb China rom. installing Google services + play goes smoothly. will be testing more local apps during weekends

To be precise u can still do backup but not complete, eg only contacts and photos

can those bloatware be disabled? or you need root or adb to remove them?

you mean we can't install & use Google backup on China rom phones?

No problem on my device, the location setting you set to high accuracy which uses GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and mobile network?

As well as got allow the app to use location?

Side note anyone tried Spotify but have problems with the second menu; the 3 dots one like selecting the song radio, not the gear one. It hangs there and stop responding :'(

Have u tried Google map to see if it works?
Can also try reset GPS with GPS status apps

I think China ROM don't have full access to all of Google's stuff or something, so the backup is not everything
