Yes. Local set with local 1yr warranty. When I turned on the phone, I saw some SingTel apps. Went back home, I did a hard reset and it's gone.

if modding your phone like rooting or flashing custom rom is not important to u, note 8 pro is probably the better value proposition. sure u lose amoled and get a notch, but u get a faster processor, have sdcard slot and bigger battery, all for cheaper.

Can anyone advise if any shops does flashing of Global ROM for CN ROM set? Currently having 1 set on CN ROM, managed to install G.Play store and services but encountering some problems with some apps and GPS. If managed to flash to Global ROM will be totally same with local sets on Global ROM? Thks.

need to unlock your bootloader first before flashing.. so don't think shops will do for you.. ownself flash la.. it's not a difficult process.. I just received a new global OTA update and it went through smoothly without issue.
