cos n8p uses mediatek chip, which generally dont get updates as much as snapdragon ones, just look at the rn4/x and compare the sd and mtk variants. things could change though, since the g90t looks promising.

a lot of people are avoiding the note 8 pro because of the MTK hate in india.
MTK also doesnt support their chips for long.

Same for my Redmi Note 8. Maybe because of the camera so no space for notification icon. But I heard some say MIUI 11 will fix this. Let's wait and see.

Borrow this thread to ask this question. I find other's camera can zoom into much a smaller area than mine, eg in an auditorium, they can zoom in to the screen while mine still has a lot of people in the pic. Which parameter in the camera specs will tell me how much I can zoom in ?

I'm using a RM4X now, looking at RMN8 or RM8.

just look for which lens is telephoto and see the optical zoom. but usually for miui cam it will allow up to 8x digital zoom.

yes, but unless u patch miui, twrp will be overwritten on every boot.
