Will like get some feedback : Is the earpiece speaker clear and loud enough? Especially if you are answering phone call in a noisy environment eg Coffeeshop, can you hear the other party clearly? I’m not referring to the speaker in the bottom of the phone, for blasting music. I’m asking about the one in the TOP portion of the phone. Thanks thanks.

buy direct...+shipping fees more expensive.... then if phone damaged during transit.....

buy from local importer+coupon is cheaper, global rom somemore...then with 1 month warranty.

not really I feel. if u get from taobao, u can get 6/128 for ¥1399, which is under $280, and if u ship by forwarder like ezbuy, shipping can be up to $10 if by sensitive air (sea + gst not worth). so total is slightly cheaper than shopee, but not as worth since u get local warranty with the latter if u use coupon. but ur claim about damaged items during transit I've never encountered before, shipped 2 phones without issue this year, plus a whole lot of other items like tempered glass also nothing break.

This is true on China ROM but Global one, not.

Last week we bought Note8 in HK for HKD1400 (SGD244) on Global ROM and seems to work well. Few weeks ago also bought a Redmi8 off AliExpress for SGD169(4/64gb) and also works well on Global ROM with nothing in the way of ads.

I had a Redmi 3S on China ROM a couple years back and had a lot of stuff coming up but my Mix2S on Global ROM has no ads.

when the screen is off, any incoming whatsapp call won't wake the screen up.
when the screen is on, any incoming whatsapp call notification is not in full screen.

Nope. Redmi note 8 Pro 128GB only cost abt $240 after coupon+coins on shopee during sale... Maybe u can try waiting and see if there are any coupons by shopee.
