phone is hard to spoil within 1 year unless got manufacturing flaws....
somemore, going to service centre.....
1. Troublesome
2. They may reject servicing and charge extras for repairing.
3. Waiting time

even seller also knew this, that's why they like to mix local and export sets.

of course, when buying export set, u must have the mentality the risks u're taking too.

Gotten my Ocean Blue Note 8 Pro from Shopee yesterday. Been using it today, Google Pay works well for bus ride, battery life has been good so far. Camera quality on stock MIUI cam app is decent, looking for a good GCam port for the model. Any good recommendations from fellow Note 8 Pro users?

Got it from Xiaomi Official Store Global. Wanted warranty set so decide to go for them. Previously gotten a Mi Box S from them, checked delivery address to be Singapore, hence no need to worry about warranty claims if needed. Plus they just added the Blue model for sale as well.

That is an official Xiaomi Store. Yes they send stuff from China, and yes the warranty is recognized here in Singapore. So no issues with sending from China.

As for price, it depends, sometimes this shop has offer which is cheaper than local store.

For example they just have a flash sale of Mi Box S at S$79, whereas the local Mi Store has the sale at S$89 (usual price S$99).

Still the limitation is basically they sell the same thing as the Mi Store here, much less than in China.

Anyone on Redmi Note 8 Pro face extreme standby battery drain when left overnight? My data and WiFi wasn't on yet it drained more than 20%. No such issue on my Pocophone though. Need to monitor possible misbehaving apps.
