What method you use to back up / restore ? Can restore directly without having to put back all the icons to the home screens and app drawer ?

Backup Home Screen and apps to Mi Cloud. Then can restore from there after you reset the phone. I didn't use any restore, I just install and reinsert apps to home screen manually.

Submit bug report first since there's significant number of users facing same issue. Global Android 10 update has yet to be pushed out but it should be soon (CN, EU and RU versions all already got it), maybe the upcoming update will fix the issue.

Some apps can autostart even when autostart are disabled.
Some apps can run in background even when close in background are selected. :(

Does note 8 pro only comes with 2 pin plug even for global/local version? How about note 8 pro. Does it come with 3 pin plug?

Mine comes with 2 pin. I don't know about others.

Come to think of it, I could have msg the Global Store and ask if they can send 3 pin. May be they do and would have sent to me.

FYI. There is a on/off Lazada Flash Sale for Motorola black colour 3 pin 18W QC3 charger for $4.90/-. If you need 3 pin, can look out for it.

Sold my note 8 pro for $270, got a very good condition second hand Samsung note 9 instead for $420. Maybe is just me but I prefer amoled screen and one UI. I feel that MIUI still not very stable as one UI.

Anyone facing wifi being 'disconnected' out of sudden and the connected wifi network status written as "DISABLED". have tried connecting to mobile hotspot on the same instance but no issue. the temporary fix is restarting hp.
redmi note 8.

I think it's during the installation, something gone wrong.

Problem with Xiaomi is that they don't reply to bug report and just leave you hanging there. They should have system checkpoint like in Windows. I can just roll back the update easily.

I got same issue occasionally
Also have to restart phone to fix
