I have this suspicion that that this store maybe run by the same group of folks that runs the Mi Official Global Store on Shopee as well. The products available and the prices are almost the same.

Yup, bought my Redmi Note 8 Pro and a Mi 9T for family member from them. All verified to have delivery address as Singapore.

Nope. I believe these units come straight from a warehouse in China and does not go through EIN distributor, hence no EIN sticker. Do they still put IMDA stickers even on EIN units now?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro long-term review

2 and a half months on, I really liked the phone. I didn't see any stutters he mentioned on my unit. Camera can be better (still using my Pocophone F1 as my main shooter), battery life is same if not slightly better than my Pocophone. Having NFC is a huge plus.

Now only issue is that updates are taking forever to arrive, been more than a week since the Android 10 update has been out as beta Stable and until now no news.

You applied the latest update 11.0.6.0 ? I did. It broke the NFC. I had to hard reset the phone to get it back.

Just to be sure, you can test at home. Get a working ezlink card, turn on NFC and place the card behind the phone (top portion). If your volume is up, you will hear a sound. That means your hw is working and you should troubleshoot your software.

Can the ShareMe app on the Redmi note 8 transfer/migrate most of my files and apps from my old Redmi note 3 pro?

I have never tried using ShareMe before.
