Feels a little sucky that a slightly better version of a phone I just bought is being released not long after.
Though not as bad as ppl who bought the RTX 2080 Ti graphics card recently. :s13:
Would be interested how much better the 732G chipset will be over 720G. Other than that, the specs are more or less similar.

Based on the Antutu benchmark given by their FB post, 732G scored 300k+ which is slightly behind the 765G 320K+, while 720G scored 240k+. I think the most noticeable different will be the 120hz refresh rate option.

You won't really be able to tell in real life usage la. I would just say they probably had deals with all the OEMs that they'll just output marginally better SoC so they can keep selling phones like as if there's something new in it. Buy what suits you at the price you want, not what they want to sell you.

Though i would say if you are a new Xiaomi budget phone user, this is the life you'll lead :s13: so now you know their pattern, just make sure next time you change to their new phones, know what are looking out for then wait for sale and just enjoy it.

But then the battery may end up significantly lower too right cos it's not a variable refresh rate?

[1 Year Local Official Warranty] POCO X3 Standard Version(Global Version) [Coming Soon]

[1 Year Local Official Warranty] POCO X3 Premium Version(Global Version) [Coming Soon]

Poco X3 leaks in full hands-on video, pricing also surfaces

Thanks for SIC.
Looks nice, maybe wait a few days see how. Supposedly $310 for base model 6GB RAM 64GB storage, $370 for "premium" model.

Snapdragon 732G chipset
Four cameras and the LED flash lined up in an X-formation.
The reviewer says this panel comes with Full HD+ resolution and shows the 120Hz refresh rate toggle, while the protection is Gorilla Glass 5.
Due to us not paying attention during Spanish classes back in school, it is a bit hard to understand the fine details of the review, but we do understand the battery is over 5,100 mAh, the biggest power cell in a Poco smartphone ever. The main camera on the back will be 64MP with f/1.79 aperture and will support 4K at 30 fps video recording.

wah nice price ... then who in the right mind will buy note 9 pro... lol:s13:

Ya, that's the trade off, unless they update in the future to have a variable refresh rate. You want smoother experience but at the expense of the battery. Need see what's daily usage different between the battery drain when using 120hz and 60hz.

EDIT: Poco X3 support variable refresh rate, after seeing the live event.

I do have a concern about that too. But really makes no sense to purchase a note 9 pro if the rumored price for the poco x3 is true.

Don't worry, there's always Poco X4 with variable refresh rate :s13:

Best is to wait for the reveal and the price, also just nice 9.9, so if Poco X3 price very high, can just straight go for the Note 9 Pro.

Requested on 25 Aug. Their courier picked up on 27 Aug but stuck in warehouse until 31st then deliver to Shopee. Till now still validation in progress. They need 7-9 working days to confirm if can refund.

What casing you all using for 9s?
I got the Pro variant (but all same dimensions), using Nillkin CamShield case. Can cover the main camera area when not in use, try to prevent the dust ingress problem as reported by many.
