Please try to authenticate if your set is from SG.

Before 11.0.8, there were incremental updates leading to it.

global version
bought from xiaomi store on shopee

looked at xiaomi website and global version rom is at 11.0.2 version currently

Boardwalk do u have the wifi issue on your 9 pro?
What version are u on?
:(

I have tried both wifi 2.4Ghz and wifi 5Ghz on my redmi note 9 Pro, running 11.0.1 rom. :o No issues. :o Have tested few hours, and let it idle for 7-8 hours, and also tested idle between 1-2hr interval. :o No issues reported so far. :o

Do you attempt to cover the SP on top more than the bottom of your phone? :o The width is somewhat truncated if manage on both sides. :o

My SP is short about 0.5mm on each side of the width. The top covers 1mm and the bottom covers about 2-3 mm.

But my SP is a very cheap one, although it is still tempered glass. I know cause a part of it already chipped due to a drop from a height of about 1m. LOL.

anyone using temper glass?
does it stick well against the edges?

realised the phone came pre-applied with plastic protector

duno if i should tear it off immediately and put glass protector
:(

Think the one that comes with the phone is plastic and it is better to get a tempered glass one. From my previous experiences of dropping phones, the chances of surviving drops with tempered glass is much better than plastic ones.

Mine is quite similar, I dun really get exact mm measurement. :o

My SP is the "Nillkin" CP MAX 3D one. :o I find the edge is really magnet to dust. :o

With casing the dust is alot from the SP to the casing gap. :o

I am planning to get new SP after a while when there are better ones in the market. :o

Bottom of the phone where you can see the display, original SP and TG SP.

Top of the phone.

Right side of the TG SP where it cracked due to the drop. Also similarly, note the original SP extends about 1mm beyond the actual display, whereas the TG SP is short about 0.5mm.

Your screen protector seems to be large enough to cover your actual display. Mine is definitely smaller.:(

But yes, I do see a lot of dust gathering around the edges of the casing. Could possibly due to the material of the casing.
