You might as well volunteer for those charities
Like if you like animals, you can clean ages and walk the dogs

However my experience with them isn't great and they can't get their act together despite them claiming they need volunteers
Though that was years ago

Not a bad life, beats the usual 9-5 or worse still, knock off still must check email corporate slave life.

Few days ago I just received terrible news, my ex classmate just got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (rare type of sarcoma), he is not even 50. His oncologist say prognosis is no good, likely cannot last for more than 2 yrs.

This is like the 4th case in my F&F circle, all got cancer and passed away well before 60. I think I will also retire next year, life is too unpredictable and short.

Why wanna explore sg when we all already know sg is a small place?

Start to look inwards n do something that you like n will last, eg read books, start a hobby etc. I bought a few plants and have been watching them grow or die for few years liao.

Starting my third month into retirement. Woke up this month to the thunderstorm, so glad didn't have to work. Enjoying the view of the rain. You have no idea how relaxing it is. Who says singapore so small, have not seen so many places, nooks and crannies. Just bought a camera and having fun taking photos, clouds, birds, nature etc. Bicycle repaired, green corridors next. Planning train to chiang mai and beyond. Maybe one day even to Portugal, longest train ride. Enjoying social media, to much to see. Taking care of my indoor plants and getting new ones. Simply lazing.
