Anyone experienced very weird transactional sequences in the account when using MasterCard for public transport?

Eg. The cumulative cost over 5 days was posted even before the first of the 5 days, like $5.65 was deducted on 15 Sep but the $5.65 is for transport cost from 20 Sep to 24 Sep.

It's very weird.

I also noticed yet another episode of "Delayed transaction" which was the cause behind my missing rebate back in July. Hope history doesn't repeat itself...

Anyway, since I'm only using Revolut for the purpose of public transport and they have ceased the 20% cashback promotion for existing customers... am switching to POSB Everyday card for the month of October before switching back to using UOB One in November (new quarter).

It’s all over the place, I gave up trying to make sense of it. Btw ez-link running a 5% rebate promotion for 4 $10 top ups a month.

im switching to ezlink at the moment. in addition to this top up promo (tip: use GPMC to top up), you get a $2 credit if you convert to simplygo.

they had a 10% unlimited cashback promo which ended in Sept. hope it will be extended.

I think I will just go back to using GPMC for public transport. Atleast we will get 1.7% from UOB absolute.

i replaced 2 metal and 1 premium cards. all arrived as visa cards. surprised that they still allowed me to replace the metal and premium cards with no fees when i already canceled the metal subscription more than a year ago.

Anyone encounter this issue of seeing a "Not Found" message after entering the 6 digit OTP during top-up (using Grab Card) and you have to "discard" the top up manually - but the top-up was successful? I'm facing this issue everytime I top-up my Revoult wallet and the Live Chat just asked me to logout and login again to refresh the app which doesn't fix the issue.

I can't seem to top up the revolut account using the balance from youtrip... it just failed at the authorisation part which says "not found" after I've approved it via the youtrip app.

any workaround?

have never added the youtrip card in the revolut app before..

hi all
new to Revolut. Tried to top up using Grab MC and failed. is it an issue on my end or is grab MC banned from topping up Revolut account. any tips on how to top up Revolut account using still AMEX true ** card?

[edit] works now. am not sure if this step is required but i added my bank account and top up using bank account first. then my GPMC now works.

No, YouTrip blocks all transactions to prepaid cards.

I have sgd and jpy in my revolut account. Traveling to Malaysia soon. How to ensure transactions is converted from sgd and not jpy which I had exchanged for a future trip.

Shouldn't have an issue according to this:

Currency for the card payment is selected in the following order:
  1. The currency of the payment (e.g. if you are in the UK carrying out a transaction in Euro, we will deduct funds from your Euro balance)
  2. Your base currency (SGD), which is determined by your home address
  3. The next active currency with a sufficient balance
Funds are not taken from more than one currency balance at a time, so if there is no single currency wallet with sufficient funds, the transaction will be declined, even if there is enough money across your wallets in total.
