Roboadvisor: Stashaway vs Smartly Performance

Can someone please do an analysis on how Roboadvisors have handled the recent market correction? Were they able to move to defensive before the correction?

For stashaway, there were no changes. The CFO believed that there should not be changes for this correction as market are still healthy

Why pay them extra money (in the form of management fees) to invest in ETFs?

You can invest in ETFs yourself.

Seriously, comparing Stashaway vs Smartly is like comparing two person see who can flip heads more often on a coin.

How is that any different from you buying the ETFs on your own using IB or any other brokers?
