Taobao is selling water hook up kit for many popular model for about $70. Installation seems quite straight forward, just a pump with power adaptor and couple of tube to connect the in, out and detergent.

May be this one is one of the best with very high suction power and will clean and dry the mop

that is a good price. But I’m going to go for the slim profile docking station with direct water hookup kit and drainage.

Last night I hoot this, after waited for a long while for this lowest price. Hopefully I won’t regret it

Last month I bit another brand at around S$274, also at its lowest price at midnite 3 to 4 am.

Hence if got the infrastructure at home this will be best

Some prefer to leave the cleaning station in living room, so prefer a water tank design.

For me form factor is more important, so I will position it in dry kitchen area which link to my wet kitchen (sink / WM drainage and water inlet)

Can suggest why the preference? Because of constraint or?

Just a smaller form factor, and I don't envisage to move it around to put in living room / bedroom.

It's literally 50% smaller (height wise) + ease of use since you don't need to keep refilling and clearing waste water.

The cleaning robot is the same - X40. Ultra / Master is just the docking station difference.

P/S - Upcoming 11.11 got big sale. Waiting to buy

Oh I’m just saying like if one has the option (infrastructure) to connect the dreame to a water source n outlet.

it’s like best cause it literally like washing machine.

You don’t want to go manual refill or discharge the water

any one bought the x40 dreame master and did the hook up to inlet and outlet and also did it in the cabinet carpentry?

I'm doing a reno and planning to do as such, but will like to know about the maintainteance for the dust bag/ detergerent etc etc, do i need to cater more spacing?
Or just the 285mm height and 431mm width as mentioned in the manual will allow me to do those mentioned maintenance?

or is there other maintenance to be catered for?

Conseal dock is nice aesthetic, but maintenance might be a chore especially the cleaning of the mop tray. Future robot replacement will also need to fit within the area as well.

hi,
i recently installed a Dreame X40 Master as part of my home reno.
Yes the dim inside the manual are exact and that's what the device need.

for the consumables, there is top drawer to pull out for refilling.

one though should consider the maintenance / installation space required. and this depends on the individual's needs and risk taking appetite.
