Yes. I also eyeing the smart function. My only concern is the IR sensor and no virtual wall sia

What is the problem with IR Sensor cos seems many models also using IR for the Auto Recharge and after I read properly then realize that it does not come with virtual wall but seller did mention that the Smart Model has systematic mapping and ensures good coverage without the need of sectorisation from the virtual wall.

I already own a smart robot. It has ultrasonic sensor instead similar to LG roboking. Roboking has 3 mine has 7. Still it bump into the wall like nobody business.

When I look closer on the suzuka smart, not only it runs on IR (I suppose not the key concern) but the distance between the IR is far apart like my current one. Thus chances it bump onto furniture is very high especially things like slim chair legs. It will miss it

Oh, you mean your LG has only 3 sensors on the side bumper?

Guess that the function of mapping comes in that it will do the mapping of the room layout before the cleaning starts.

I never own any Robot vacuum before, that is why I slowly study the features of each brand and model before deciding.

for VC3000 users

does this machine bump against surfaces often?

mine use for 2 days, already have its front bumper scratched due to friction and collision.

Something like that. Seems to me mapping is more for the cleaning route. It's the senor that determine how to avoid the collision. But non in the market has a good one in my view. It's either too far apart saving cost on the senor or uses cheap I sensor that doesn't sense quite accurately

mentioned in the title of the thread it is vc3000, Aztech. bought at 199.

I see, I intend to get the Aztech initially but my friend who used the Proscenic model and he highly recommend me that it will not bump onto my furniture so I go ahead and order the Proscenic Smart with App Control.

This company only manufacture Robot Vacuum so it should be quite reliable.

Waiting for the delivery to test it out.

Can it clean corners and edges too? Since it doesn't bump, I wonder how it reaches the edges.

It will still bump gently onto wall or furniture in order to get the mapping of your room, the edge of wall will be covered by the side brush.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the performance for Suzuka Smart based on its price. =:p

No problem, just sharing also as my friend who used the iRobot which can easily cost more than $600 and he mention the performance is about the same as this Proscenic Smart Robot so why not just spend 1/3 of the price and get your house cleaned. =:p

I am also considering getting the Proscenic Smart. Would you be able to advice what is the height and width of it please? I think there isn't a lot of information about it. Been trying to check with the seller, but not getting a response. :s22:
