Although I agree with Ur take on single mums， but kind of hypocritical of u to ask people to stop judging and stereotyping after u paint all sg men as worse than children.

5 pages in this thread are all comments from men judging single moms as being not worthy of love and relationship and that we are simply after your money or whatever. If that isn’t being childish, then..?

Recently a lady member on this forum posted something like, stay away from divorced ladies, any lady who cannot even stay married sure got problem. Now that was very hurtful. More so because it came from another lady

what I going to say is going to be abit hurting but this is how I feel and observe.

those ladies who divorce before they are more wiser and no longer naive like last time

divorcee ladies they say what in their mind straight to your face unlike last time.

It’s not hurtful because it is 100% true. We no longer have the patience for bulls**t and nonsense. Likewise I have less tolerance for people who waste my time and don’t know what they want . At your 40s onwards we all come with scars , wounds , baggage , issues and a boatload of experience and PTSD. But we are independent and self sufficient. We don’t need to be babied and meet everyday - most are happy to still have their own life.

Think of it this way most married couples after the kid pops up the wife focuses all energy on the kid. Getting together with a single mom skips the part where the women even bothers to pay attention to the guy. He would be 2nd priority from the start and it will never get better!

The majority of divorces are triggered by women. This is not sexist this is just reality. Not saying the women are always at fault. But as with most relationships both parties have some blame.

Even if one party were to cheat, if we actually deep dive do a post-mortem we can trace some fault back to the other partner. Like if someone is fed until very full at home, do you think he/she would want to go outside and steal eat?

But I’m not expert also since I have a failed marriage. Just that I do lots of self-reflection.

That is the furthest thing I would expect a single mom to want. They are usually looking for a provider so they won’t have to struggle so hard to pay the bills.
