yes...how come theres a VGA plug on it?
i think its wrong one....new sager laptops dont include any VGA output anymore...only DVI

@superrockmen
sager 2098 is good only if you dont expect too much from a mediocre graphics....and , im not sure about teh battery life..because we all are using high-end graphics which consumed lots of battery power..

i think 2098 is more than 2 hours...
mine can get around 1~1.5 hours

resellers will not show up on comex..the only way you buy these laptops is from the websites of respective resellers

Thanks for your response...but then the N2098 should be one of the best laptops among its price range right?Or are there better alternatives?

heat problems can be eliminated as long you install the latest intel matrix storage drivers

MSI EX62? Where can you get that in singapore? Any links to shops and stuff?

www.msimobile.com
no...not available in singapore

I would consider 2hrs a great feat for a gaming laptop.

two hours can be reached...
only if you:
-downvolt the processor and limit the multiplier to half the maximum
-downclock the GPU so that it uses less power
-reduce 1/2 maximum brightness

ermm alot of people say downvolt the processor so less heat produced, how is that supposed to be done?

And will it like ruined the warranty?

For the quote I got from both Murco and Sgcube, even after the sgcube 3% discount, the price for my unit is the same for both, with Murco about $50 still cheaper. The difference is the warranty, 1year part and labor for Murco vs 4yr part and 3year labor for Sgcube.

Still aliasing with them for their best prices haha.

What? You could contact Cubehub? Who was the person who replied to you?

I have been trying hard to contact Cubehub through email for the a full month and they haven't even bothered returning my emails. Looks like I simply have to call them now though. :s27:

No, undervolting is completely safe, since you aren't testing the limits of your processors, but rather, trying to save energy and keep the laptop cooler, hence, more stable. You can try undervolting through software mods. Try googling them. :)

You guys must be lucky. I wrote an email query to Cubehubs before, and never received a reply either.
