You can remove most of them. You might be able to disable them instead..

Try application manager in settings, or you can root the phone and remove from there..

Just gotten A8 recently. Wanna ask a silly question, how to install 2 Sim + 1 microSD into the phone?

Seem like 2nd sim slot allows either Sim or MicroSD card only...

The battery life has gotten worse for me now. Can I check if any of you do a fresh reset of the phone before using it?

Thanks, just found out too. Sigh ... feel sad

Don't feel sad. I used to have HTC 826 that allows 2 sim card and 1 sd card. I end up selling the HTC & get A8. You will enjoy using A8 compare to HTC later.

Looks like no one's interested in this phone anymore...Zzzz

Any idea if the Samsung A8 sold in retailers like WhyMobile, Red White Mobile etc contain the Snapdragon 615 or Exynos 5430 chipset? All the retailers stated that their mobiles are all local warranty sets but quite a few state Snapdragon 615 :/

You can obtain the model number from Samsung.com.sg and then compare with the retailer..

Looks like it's the Snapdragon 615 model that is the Singapore local warranty set...Bit disappointed since I heard Exynos 5430 is more powerful...>.<

Edit: I realised the confusion lol. A8 Duos (SM-A800Y) carries the Exynos 5430. A8 Single SIM (SM-A800F) carries the SD 615. Both are sold in Singapore as local warranty sets, but I can hardly find anymore Duos models >.<

Pardon me, I believe the only model sold in SG is Dual Sim (I.e. Dual Sim 4G+2G or 1 sim 1 mSD), and is on the Exynos processor.

Mine is SM-A800F and it is Duos. Exynos as well. M1 set

Soooo confusing. Ill probably assume that local retailers like WhyMobile KasiaMobile RW Mobile etc are all selling the Exynos sets then (although most of them stated SD 615 for local warranty sets).
