Samsung Beam?

I see. I think I recall the C.S.O. breaking the seal in my presence. Not 100% though. A faint memory. Maybe I need to root & froyo my head.

For my SGB, the plastic wrapper was intact (perfectly sealed) But, looking through the plastic wrapper, we noticed that the seal was broken. Noticed I mentioned the word "we", meaning I am not alone during the purchase, my sons were there too. So the only possibility is "someone" just wrap back the plastic wrapper. Reason unknown. Maybe Samsung or Starhub knows.

Anyway, the main point is; hope that all SGB regardless of batches, the phone itself does not freeze whether out of the box or after the firmware udpate.

Anyone have problem with the camera after upgrading to H2? I got occasional "camera failed" warning and video is jittery sometimes with playback image screen freeze but film still running :-(. Seem to have more lag now.

so you managed to flash to H2 ?
can you do a flash guide 101 for galaxy beam?

I can't rmb if mine was sealed or not.but I hope no more major problem from beam anymore.

I bought the phone on the second day after its luanch, box was sealed and the tight plastic wrapper still in place. But after three days the phone froze and from the last update its still working well. Though its lagging.

Sorry salah, on H1. My projector went into samsung screen a few times now had to turned off and on :-(

I see. All this repackaging, only Starhub & Samsung know what is going on. Hope no more 'freeze' issue for some Beam owners.

Has anyone experience drop call with your SGB? I had encountered many times of drop calls but still yet to confirm if it is due to phone or telco. Will do testing if possible.

I got my beam on tuesday.

Well everything went fine, i tested my beam in a bright room, nothing fantastic.
But at night in my room with lights off, i had 54" with great color and quality. Couldnt get bigger cuz my room width is only 9ft.

Anyway, my beam just died on me earlier after i treid to restart when i killed a few of the core services runing on the phone.. The phone was very slow, after installing LauncherPro, became a little faster, then it never managed to complete a reboot again, for the past 2h, my beam has been loading at the android screen.
Knn..
Taking it down to starhub tomorrow to demand for 1 for 1 since i bought mine on tues.

After that i might decide to sell or trade with iPhone 4(Since anyway the pricing is about the same on the shops).

See how larh. I really enjoy the projector function, everyone at school awes over it

i doubt is the firmware, many people's beam are going strong on stock firmware

I just went to samsung and got a firmware update. Grr no 1 to 1 exchange.
They said the issue is common in the first batch of the Beam..

So they said the latest firmware should fix the issue....

Hope it's true!

maybe they hit the gspot of the phone.. ;-p
