Me. Deep dent by taking the uag case out. Paid $200 for it.

Sent from Samsung SM-G988N using GAGT

Lol damn I guess it ain't that worth it to buy the Fold series yet personally. Will be sticking to the conventional candybar Note series.

Hi seniors, may i know your view about the fingerprint sensor on the original Fold? Good?

I came from Note 8/9 to Note 10+. I feel that the in-screen fingerprint sensor unlock is not as good as the traditional one. The ergonomics for the original Fold is very good for daily use despite of the small outer screen. I don't think that the Fold 2 will be having a bezel-less outer screen. It would look more awkward with such a long display and possibly the in-screen fingerprint sensor which I hate.

I'm asking is because still sitting on the fence to buy a Fold 1 or not. Waiting for 5 Aug. I don't really mind about the little bit bigger inner and outer screen or 120hz refresh rate which are in the leaks. Especially it is rumoured to still having a SD855 and maybe a even smaller or equivalent battery than the Fold 1.

Thanks in advance.

The finger print is fine but don't use thick casing. It kinda hard to scan sometimes esp I got big fingers. Other than that I chose fold over s20 ultra/+ which I owned previously

I think you're referring to those imported versions (like from HK) which may NOT come with the 1 year warranty and screen replacement (capped at S$200 within one year) and Concierge Service.

Mine had just had the two batteries replaced, front and inner screens have also been replaced. Collection and return of my Fold done effectively at my doorstep, phone serviced within three days max, and all for the awesome price of S$0.00!

Nope it's local set with local warranty
The usual shops popular with members here are selling at that price. Since it comes with local warranty, Samsung Concierge still applies

Where to buy the UAG monarch at retail shops instead of online? I need one today

A late bloomer here as I might be picking up a used 1 month old Fold (black) from carouhell

I think you're outta luck, I don't think any mom and pop shops carry it as it's for a niche market, and is expensive for a phone case. Gotta order online and hope got stock and speedy delivery. I'd gotten mine online, as most of the Fold owners here as well I believe. Oh yeah, welcome to the club!:)

Sad that the fold cannot support 2 physical sims
Cannot use Malaysian sim card
Using the fold as main phone for now

Enjoying every minute of the fold
Having paid 1200 for a 2 month old ST fold is worth it.
The phone came fully protected with screen protectors front n back n internal screen. The seller even DIY pasting the sides too lol.
Came with UAG Monarch case too but without the earbuds as he is using it.
A heavy solid phone.

Does anyone know how to get this option back in the menu settings? I used to have it on the fold but after resetting and sending it back to Samsung for screen replacement, it’s gone and I can’t find any option to get this back.

I am contemplating on getting one. But the price point and practicality are my main considerations. Anyone kind to share your opinion.

Saw on Reddit the price will be same, that will be great, quite reasonable upgraded features keep the same price :)

honestly, i love my fold.
i do read books quite frequently, and the big screen really helps. in fact, all text based applications looks good, for example, emails, web pages, etc. videos look great too just that they will be (more) boxed up.

can see that games are slowing adapting to this screen size, for example, clash royale has since changed the layout abit so that i can place troops at the bottom, behind my base. same go to the others such as lord mobile, random dice, etc

the internal camera notch is a bummer for games such as mobile legends and call of duty

Very happy with my Fold.
Using it as my main phone
Nice big screen
No need to pinch screen to enlarge
No need to swipe left/right to read text

No regrets
