when viewing a photo or webpage, when u turn the phone slightly, it rotates to portrait/landscape. Is there a way to stop it from rotate like a shortcut key instead of going to settings? like ipad hv a button on the side to lock rotation.

Pull down the Notification page and disable the Screen Rotation. How difficult is that?

Hi guys, is there a way to reject a incoming call without having to swipe to cancel? Like pressing the on button twice?

Reason: sometime in meeting, phone keeps ringing, press once on button can silent the call but no way to cancel call without having to swipe the phone.

Set ringer to off or vibrate when in meeting, if call comes in just swipe to cancel the call, what is so difficult?

Go to settings

You can use the power button to reject calls...hahah

Or use motion control - flip the phone over to silent the call

I tried with all the fonts in Note2 also cannot see the emoji.

Then must be Samseng do something special I guess.....only way to solve is with root iirc.

hi all my note 2 the recent apps menu suddenly doesnt appear..my home button is working perfectly fine...have to restart phone to make the recent apps menu appear again. this has happened several times..any pros can help? thanks

Found it but it doesn't cancel a call by pressing the power button. Weird..

Yes.....try this link outside of whatsapp or go sms and see if you can see the 2 emojis at the end. If cannot see then most probably is either you're using a custom font that doesn't support emoji, or Samsung fool around with the default jellybean fonts. I'm not using Note 2, but iirc JB supports emoji.....

That setting is for "end" call, not "cancel" call. Big difference between the 2 words.

You cant on ICS and JB.
