For an ex-iPhone user, i backed up my contacts to the Windows Contact Folder. I realized when i transfer the contacts in that Folder to Kies, contacts previously saved under the iPhone field will not appear in the Note 2, can anyone confirm?

Another thing is, is there a way to change the position of the Navigation Bar for the Multi-Window? It's always on the left, but the youtube demo video is on the Bottom.

hmm this qn maybe for whatsapp for android in general, but maybe some of u know how to solve?

ok for group notification i set specific LED lights notification. There is this group that I muted, but when the msg come still have LED lights? cannot just disable for this group?

1/2 iphone 1/2 note2 user here
iphone sync with google contacts.. while still keepin my window contacts just in case
go note2..add google account and all ur contacts migrated... the end

ok, I'll pick this easy one to answer.

When you press and hold the Back Button, the multiwindow tab appears, ya?
Now click on hold on the tab, and you can position it higher or lower or move it to top, bottom, right or back to left

Guys. i have this problem.
That is even when I set my led notification to lit up. But the led doesn't lid up when there is messages unread. May I know how to solve this?

Could someone advise why the phone's internal memory is showing 1.7Gb free out of 10Gb.

Tried looking through the folders but cannot find where the memory is taking up.

sadly no. but i do have my efs.tar saved
i tried to push via adb to phone. it was flashed successfully.
but when reboot, still stuck at samsung logo
in recovery still /efs not mounted

Yes, I realized this as well. Updating of apps via wifi seems to be stuck forever, whereas updating via mobile network is much faster. Wonder why...

exactly! me and my gf juz bought note2 with starhub, trying to install apps from play store, facebook skype etc all stuck when downloading with home wifi, added contacts number also not synch in whatapps. disable the wifi and connect with mobile data network and it is working fine...anyone?

for me it's intermittent... last few days downloaded from playstore the download started immediately... previously sometimes it's immediate, sometimes need to wait for 1 or 2 or 3 mins... anyway the download never fail for me, eventually will start download and complete smoothly after few mins wait.
wat abt u all? forever stuck even after wait for 5 or 10 mins?

since this only happens for starhub users (cable & fibre, as reported in another thread)... more or less can confirm that it's starhub prob... maybe proxy or something.
also, someone mentioned in another thread that by manually setting dns server to google dns 8.8.8.8 seems to solve this prob.
