Hi bros,

Does the auto brightness work this way whereby the screen gets very very dark and hardly visible under bright environment like the sorching sun at noon?

And does anyone else has the issue of white lines running across the screen whenever it is awoken from sleeping mode? Mine have leh. And apprently dint manage to get any advices from bros. Sob sob.

Thanks for the advise, I actually backup to google, however discover photos are saved except for the contacts.

I guess I shall try backing up with kies! Never know there is such a program till you mentioned lol!

Hi guys... I'm having some problems with my note 2.
Itchy hand used the mobile odin to flash the newer stock roms few hours back.
after flashing the stock rom, no SIM card detected.
Already tried remove and insert SIM card, remove battery, reboot etc.
Still same.
Tried Factory reset using the boot recovery, still same.
Using boot recovery, tried to re-flash the newer stock rom and older stock rom from SammyMobile, keep getting Signature Error.
Now my note 2 can't be recognised using usb on both my PC (Win XP) and notebook (win 7). So I can't use ODIN to to do recovery.

Any one encountered before?
My last resort is to go service centre, but not sure if can get it repaired, or get it back in time before my holiday trip next tuesday.

You can try Mobile Odin to flash firmware but need a WIFI file transfer app like Wifi File Explorer Pro.

But I need root to instal mobile Odin which currently I'm not able as rooting need to connect thru USB?
Some how my note 2 is not recognised.
Keep having this "Qualcomm cdma technologies msm" not installed whenever I plug the note 2 into my win XP PC.
When using my Win 7 laptop,l it simply does not detect my note 2.

Hello, noob question.. can't see to find the info on web or on user guide.. I saw 3G, H+, H, and G (if i remember correctly) switching from time to time but I dont know what they mean, anyone can tell me what is what?

Also the up arrow and down arrow beside it means what? Sometimes only up arrow got color sometimes down arrow..

from day 1 can't get OTA.

Really is itchy hand.

My note2 is also from Samsung, it is ok if no update OTA.

What is so big deal about update?

Don't need to cook up a story as the truth was that my note2 can't get OTA updates, so I flash the new stock rom.

i made some settings and then now, my 4G gets 'turned-on automacally'. for instance, I turn off my 4g (purposely, to save batt) and let the phone goes into idle (screen turns black). When I check (wake) the phone, the 4G is turned on.

WTH. can anyone help? I don't want it to be turned on automatically.

Nope. Not without root, and not in the old way as well.
