hmmm... after considering... my first choice definitely goes to 10.1 now, actually I realised that it depend on individual. I have s3, if i want portability I could just use my phone instead. :p
Facing the same issue as you. Feels that 8.0 is just fine, not too big. But they only have white colour, which I am hesitating on.

Just no like LCD instead of super amoled.

LTE will be launching. Not the 3G first then LTE, that's history ppl, move on, this is year 2013 where only LTE devices make a bang.

something to confuse u :p
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 vs Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 LTE - Phone specs comparison

Note 10.1 - LTE, Bigger screen
Note 8.0 - portable

I'm looking to replace my outdated Asus Transformer TF101 and my dying Iphone 3GS and this seems like such a great idea as the 8" form factor hits the sweet spot in terms of portability and usage in my case.
Somehow the lack of flash in the rear cam is a little puzzling...
And here i was thinking I'd finally just need to carry one "perfect" device out!I'm not really a camera person but the LED flash seems like a standard issue in all smart phones/tablets in 2013.To not see it here on a >$500 gadget sibeh disappointing :s11:

Tablets was designed n target for video call n notes taking n entainment sub.
as with time, it gets mess n note 8 just round it all up.

On the LTE, it greatly depends on country or telco opr...today, after 1yr, sgp hv a coverage of 80% (ave 3 opr) n there r still blind spots (undergrd n indoor n specific area)..

Understd the need of a device tat could last for certain time n quad core had been for 2yrs n FHD is comin up on some devices n with Os n features sprining up, it would not b any surprised that in 2014, we will see note 8 2.0.

Lets njoy this moment .

What i really wish to see is several giants (asus + samsung) coming together with a unit. Iagine a padfon with noteability (usimg asus hi def screen) or the samsung+apple would b superb. It would take the tablet to a new level

No offense, but the EDMW style typos gives me headaches. :)

Warranty international or Malaysia only? So... coming to Singapore soon I guess..
Malaysian warranty, guess only 3g. Can buy to save $100, service center is in jb accessible. Previously note1, many buy in advance for 2 years warranty, didn't hear any complaints or grievances since.
