My battery lasted 11 hours yesterday using lots of whatsapp, music, surfing the net, checking mails and watching youtube videos (those 10 minutes and lesser).

Go Settings>Language and input>Samsung keyboard> key-tap vibration
uncheck it

Thanks , I manage to unclick the vibration but I retain the sound.. quite cool (I know, drain battery!)

Factory Reset after JB upgrade

Hi
I did a factory reset after upgrading to JB. It's much better now. Smoother n hardly any unwanted lag
Put on Power Savings mode most of the time, and the battery is ok.

Just wondering, I have been using my NOTE for > 1 year, perhaps go and buy an original SAMSUNG battery & enjoy it for another year.

I luv my NOTE now, with the JB....

Does it make a difference between factory reset and without factory reset?

The battery performance will be better after factory reset?

When I turn on wifi it's 90%, after only update a few apps around 10 mins it drops to 81%. Although I didn't do factory reset after update and power saving is on.

Yup. Kinda agree with this one. Power saving is more like power sucker.

Just disable locations, syncing and whatever all those can already.

left home for.work at 8am.
batt at 95%
WHATSAPP+LINE+WECHAT+INTERNET SURFING+Music player.

right now batt at 90%. 8:23am

later reach office gonna check how fast note will recharge via PC usb

the power saving agreed. Like no use. Battery still drain. I just un-installed 2X Battery which off data when screen is off to "save power".

However with the app installed or not installed, still the same

my note 10.1 does it easily with a earth sign beside like IOS made it so much easy when i wanna type stuff in chinese for movie app

im using the Samsung keyboard. Other than english in it, it have chinese too. Just swipe the spacebar it becomes chinese. Add chinese language at the same place at keyboard settings.
