for my watch 4 korean set...i am having issue to setup gpay ...at the end...i didnt use any payment method on watch 4..

then whats the point of having the smart watch if cant even us Gpay... damn... then i better think twice sia...

Guys anyone using korean made watch and have no issues at all.

U can still go carousell find local set at $348 for smallest one..still cheaper than samsung official

How do smartwatches work?

I am looking at a 5 Pro but not sure if BT or LTE is the correct choice. If BT, do I need to turn on BT on my S22U permanently to get text/call notifications, LTE from what I read is you need eSim but I don't think Giga has eSim.

If BT only, the watch need to be connected to your phone in range then can get the notifications from the phone. For LTE, if no phone, the native apps on the watch can use with the phone off. For those that rely on notifications from the phone, the phone must be on so that it syncs the notifications to your watch via LTE.

No need on BT. The watch uses NFC for payments.

Can just use BT and watch outside for music. Phone can leave at home.

Got my watch 5 44mm on last Monday. Perfect so far in terms of using it to make payment on bus and trains as well as shops.

But not sure how accurate the sleep tracking is though

Yes watch 5 can already. My wife watch 5 LTE got speaker, BT version should have also

There is this salesman at Samsung Vivocity told me that need headphones to play music from Watch 5 bcos Watch 5 itself cannot have audio out !

I thought I saw some YouTube video where the gentleman demo the audio music out directly from the watch speaker itself !

For some reason, the Google Assistant app showed up in my apps list on the watch after a while.

What I did:
- Remove Chinese from my Google's settings > Language, only retain English (United States)
- Set Region to Singapore
- Remove Chinese from Google Assistant's list of languages
- Make sure English (Singapore) is changed to English (United States) in Google Assistant > This is essential cause when I set English (Singapore), it tells me the region language is not supported.
