I just got myself a watch 5. I added my own photos to photo+, but then it become like a slider show, every photo i placed there will become the back ground picture.

How to i add multiple photos but only one will be used a watchface background?
Congrats bro on your purchase 👍

For those looking at getting the Watch 5, Courts is having a sale with the promo code "MIGHTY18" up till 20 Sep. You will be able to get Watch 5 at $342.76 after discount ($418 - 18%).
Is this sales at Courts extended ?

anyone got tips on where is the cheapest to buy the watch 5 now from a physical shop ?

thanks

Bros,

is it better to get the Watch 5 or Watch 5 Pro ?

Thanks
Errr.....should be asking yourself this question since its all down to end user preference.

If you compare differences between pro and non-pro models:

Pro is titanium body while non-pro is aluminum body.

Pro has largest battery size at the expense of being thick and chunky (Check out demo sets at any shopping mall to see for yourself).

Only the Pro model supports importing cycling or hiking GPX route files for turn by turn navigation and "track back" functions. All other functions are the same between pro and non-pro.

The Pro comes with a more "premium" magnetic d buckle band (There are plenty of made in china d buckle knockoffs being sold on shopee for less than $10)

Lastly, of cos the Pro costs a truck load more. Is the price premium of the Pro justified over the non pro models? At least for me i don't think its worth it.

Thanks bro.

I don’t cycle or hike. Only run & jog. So, no incentive for me to buy the Pro, right ?

Thanks again

If $$$ no issue then just get the Pro lor. At least from what i have been reading online, the larger battery of the Pro can last at least 1 day more compared to the non pro. If you are the kind of user who routinely charges the watch to full every single day, then well save the money and get the non pro. But i cannot reiterate enough. Before buying, go look at demo set for the Pro and decide whether you find it acceptable wearing on your wrist. For me i hate how its thick and weird looking when paired with a silicone strap.

Ok i try call them for their best price.

thanks
Don't have to call....red white prices are all listed on their website. At least, when i bought stuff from them previously they didn't come across as too flexible with giving discounts.

Yes, the difference in price between pro & non-pro not an issue for me but when i saw the demo set at Samsung Vivocity, I thought it was really too thick for my liking …

Wah Samsung LTE Watch 5 $598 vs $458 at Red White Mobile
Ya red white mobile prices are pretty good. I also usually go there to buy bluetooth earbuds, cheaper by a lot.

Today I tried using my 5 pro as standalone watch and phone cos went to a place where no cameras allowed. Quite good battery life and convenient.

Which will you all pick? Watch 4 classic or Watch 5?
Again, its all down to matter of personal preference. Watch 4 and 5 the hardware specs and sensors used are exactly the same. But i read somewhere that for Watch 5, the positioning of the sensors are slightly more elevated with closer contact to the skin which seems to allude to ability to give more accurate readings.

Biggest plus for Watch 4 classic is of course the physical rotating bezel. The watch 5's touch bezel is hit or miss, and can never be as precise as the physical rotating bezel. Also means fingerprint smudges galore on the screen if you make use of the touch bezel alot.

Biggest plus of the Watch 5 is no doubt the much improved battery life. On the watch 4 classic you will probably have to do things like tweak settings, turn off Wifi/Bluetooth/LTE when not needed, disable AOD and continuous monitoring etc. just to eke out 1 single day of battery life. But it defeats the purpose of a smartwatch if all you are using it for is to tell time. Then again, no issue if you are don't mind having to charge the watch every single day.

I just hoot the Watch 5 LTE from Red White Mobile at $458.

No more black so LL take the blue loh, since it's $140 cheaper than buying from Samsung
