Google assistant can actually be sideloaded onto galaxy watches using ADB. Can follow this XDA guide https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-google-assistant-samsung-galaxy-watch-4/. I never personally tried it out so do it a your own risk.

Yeah this Samsung salesman at Vivocity really jialat. Told me not possible bcos Watch 5 itself didn’t have any speaker !

Mine got google assistant. Language is set to English (US) on watch and simplified Chinese.

btw, can we play our sportify playlist to play the music audio out from the watch’s speakers while jogging and leave the phone in the car ?

this is assuming buying the LTE version

I don't have Spotify. I using YouTube music premium can download songs onto the watch. Think using LTE stream will be taxing on the battery.

For users who have issues with NFC payments at public transport gantries, maybe can try this. Under NFC settings on the watch, scroll down all the way down to Others "select apps to open with NFC". Turn off Samsung health. Mine work well so far after turning off this feature, maybe it conflicts with the payment feature at some gantries.

If you are Premium Spotify user, i think you can have the option to download the music onto your watch and listen it offline. Yes, it does have a speaker, else the phone feature wont work as well ma.

Can receive/make calls and reply to SMS and notifications like Whatsapp and telegram.

I just got myself a watch 5. I added my own photos to photo+, but then it become like a slider show, every photo i placed there will become the back ground picture.

How to i add multiple photos but only one will be used a watchface background?
