Phone I guess... And it is their OLED panels, not LCD.

I guess abnormal pressure being applied on the panel and/or connection?

large

My previous LG TV (IPS LCD) have glitchy lines at the bottom in its final few months. That's after almost 8 years of constant use. Should be completely different reason (not due to design flaw).

I think it is by design. My previous LG LCD TV developed the same issue after around the same amount of time. The only difference is that I use mine for more hours each day so the line appeared after 3 years then soon the whole area below it flickered the turned black the after that the line went higher and higher. 3 years equals 8 years because I googled average tv usage per day and when divided by number of hours my tv was on, which is in one of the settings options, it equalled 8 years.

Got tutorial on how to make green line appear. Just knock on the bottom edge of phone. The phone in the video is a55.

I always dun understand why software upgrade will cause it. If it is, means samseng deliberately caused it?
I read somewhere it is due to ovearheating during software upgrade.

I dont understand how people can stand the green line on their phone.

buy lcd bo taiji.
samsung is following Apple way it seems. planned obsolescence. Apple is their battery will degrade fast over time. and they drop support for their software fast.. Samsung is green lines will pop out after a while. want you to keep buying new phones every few years. wasting money for nothing.
all these companies don't care about quality. to them it's all about making money.

im still using my 5 year old xiaomi no issue. don't see why need to follow the crowd buy what latest and greatest fruit and kimchi phone

What I dun understand is, Samsung can get away with it. They should be liable for the repair.
