Still no Lollipop. Guess Samseng is too busy releasing S6 and no time for Note 4 and Note Edge. :s8: Is that how you treat your supposed flagship product? :s22:

Australia already received their second lollipop update for the note edge......but cannot release any lollipop update for Singapore? Soon the note 5 and note edge 2 will out. Samsung really a let down this time round.

Maybe that's the whole idea. So that when Note Edge's successor is out then you have more reason to buy it. :s8:

That is a wretched marketing strategy. And plus...S6 edge is so different from Note Edge. No pen input, right?

I don't want to anger anyone but get this: Sony even released Lollipop on a Sony Z Ultra, from 2012.

Goodness Samsung!

This is D reply from Samsung when I emailed them. Pathetic.

Dear Sir/, Madam

Thank you for your email dated 14 April 2015.

We have reviewed this case with careful analysis and based on the latest information we have received from the relevant department that Android Lollipop version is currently not available for Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

We truly understand that its taking longer than expected but there are certain things that we need to consider when handling new updates for Samsung mobile phone products.

We are all excited on the outcome of the new Lollipop version for our Note 4 device but we need to make sure that everything will fall into place and will face issues in the future.

We really need your cooperation and patience on this matter as we are trying our very best to expedite the process.

We thank you for your continuous support with Samsung and look forward to the pleasure of serving you again.

Yours sincerely,

Olivares needs better PR skills. Or he just needs a broomstick shoved up his arse.

Stating the obvious by saying Lollipop is not available. DUH!! Thank you Captain Obvious!!

If Lollipop is not out yet its one thing. Its out for certain countries but not others. Why the hell is that? :s8:

Need to make sure everything falls in place. If other mobile phone makers have done so, why can't Samsung? Self admittance that they are incompetent? :s8:

We understand your concerns and your expectation of receiving the firmware update for your mobile phone as soon as possible.

Please allow us to inform you that we are working towards releasing the new Lollipop version for Samsung Note 4 mobile devices and we are sorry about the extended time taken as we need to consider and analyze various factors carefully prior to the release of a firmware update.

Bloody disappointment for a flagship phone.
That's why I said no point spending that much next for a Samsung premium phone anymore. We don't get the kind of support expected from a flagship and for the premium price u paid.

For those guys who are looking around for new phones, you may wanna explore around and compare. Nowadays there are many brands out there with competitive specs, better support without this premium price.

Am seriously considering a HTC for my next phone. IMO Samsung seems to have hit a plateau like Apple.

Sure you have bigger phone and supposedly better specs but IMO iPhone 6/6+ has nothing that revolutionary compared to 5S. Likewise Note 4 nothing major over Note 3 and Galaxy S6 nothing major over S5.
