Ask u all. The super old terminals cannot MST ah? I thought all terminals can magnetic swipe one. Some cashiers keep telling me their terminals cant accept samsung pay. How should i help/educate them

think only if is old machine where they indicated that they need to slot in the card to "read" the account before entering the amount. so just have to put the phone near the machine to "slot" in the card so that they can proceed to enter the amount accordingly. After entering the amount, may need to put the phone near the machine again to process payment.

For citibank accelerated samsung pay. i'm going to swipe around $40k for car downpayment using max $3k MST per transaction. I'm only interested in cash rebate.

need to ask u all...

citibank cashback: 2.75%. got cap of $25 per month, before citibank cashback own rebate
citibank m1: 3%. got cap of $25 per month, before m1 own rebate
citibank rewards: $10 per 360, i.e. 2.77%
citibank premiermiles: 0.8miles + 1.2miles = 1.8%

Seems like rewards is the best hor?

For cash rebate, think best to do 0% ipp using UOB One card. If $2000 installment per month, get 5% rebate. Need to make another 2 small transactions to make up the requirement for min 3 transactions. 5% rebate better than 2.77% for citi reward, and can keep the cash in the bank longer and earn more interest.

Good strategy! Any thoughts if I'm a miles person instead?
