Depnds whether u flying biz or slave class. Slave class is abt 0.02 per mile. Biz class is abt $0.06 to 0.08 per mile, which works out to be abt 6-8% rebate.

Most ppl who chase after miles won't redeem for Econ class.

Anybody knows whether SPAY can be used to pay road tax at SingPost post offices ?

As posted previously, SingPost machine does work with SPAY, but they do require the entire card number to be entered into their system, which might be troublesome to get (the virtual card number).

true also... but i used for econ class as it seems less worth to pay cash when i have so much miles...

Not car loan anyway, it is paying to merchant. There is a long list of automotive merchant that allow 0% ipp. So should be able to do 0% ipp unless the merchant happen to not be on the list. http://www.uob.com.sg/personal/card...cent_instalment_plan_outlets_automotives.html

receive a comment that spservices not retail, which i challenged them as retail purchase is defined as purchase of goods or services and utilities are subject to GST. so pending review, 3 weeks liao. I guess some on the ball reviewer see the transaction and decide not to award bah. strictly, citibank disallowance is weak.

nv say they block other transaction la. the rest cleared (mostly i think, haven do a check on the small items, but big items in le) but SP is still under review.

It's not about the amount mah, it should be about fairness of the system. If the system is not fair, meaning the person in charge can award his/her friend/relative for other transactions even if it does not qualify for Samsung Pay promotion?

Same thing, I can always have a $100k bill, but to play safe, I try small amounts first, then if previous amounts all awarded, then you tell me the bulk cannot be awarded, then something is not right here.
