Which Rewards card ? Visa or MC ?

I seem to be also having problems with my RewardsV but when I retried using my RewardsMC, the same transaction went through.

Rewards Visa. I do not have the MC version.

Just tried SPay with Citibank Rewards VISA again this morning, same thing, do not honor. Citibank Premier Miles VISA with SPAY works well. But that's 2 miles per $ instead of 4.

Did you use a Paywave terminal or the MST function ?

I used the Paywave function today and it's fine.

Paywave at One Kent Ridge BK.

Either is that card or I got too much points from S Pay from that card?

Editted: my other non-SPAY transactions on that card also got rejected.

Call citibank and ask them to reset the dynamic cvv.

I used to have the same problem too till they told me that I had entered the wrong CVV too many times and it got blocked.

Under what circumstances is the CVV required? I 've used both MST and NFC quite a couple of times without any need to enter any CVV so far.

If a CVV is needed, how would we know (as opposed the merchant simply shrugging and saying "dont work")? Do we enter 000?

Lol, called yesterday evening, they say will launch investigation and get back to me within 24 hours. Will see result of that. Will ask them to do that when they call back.

Funnily, the stretch of block transactions started at SP Power, with the whole time I'm there. First one got through, while subsequent ones are blocked.

Usually for MST terminals, where they are supposedly older terminals. Some terminals require the original CCV, others is just programming issue where it needs you to enter anything, thus any number will do.

I have tried Samsung Pay on the Ez-link topup machine. CVV was prompted to be keyed in. I tried using 000 and failed but using the CVV on my physical card worked fine.

I also recently used it at a machine with no paywave function in the shop (the cashier was keen to try out a new technology). No CVV was asked but I realise it took the machine rather long to respond using MST.

Lol, called to reset dynamic CCV, then tried Samsung Pay on the Rewards Visa, still got denied. Just removed and re-added the card (thus new virtual card number), will try again.

Citibank's 24 hours got extended, saying they did not understand the reply, thus unable to explain to me.

Has anyone noticed any issues with Citibank premiermiles crediting the miles?

I made a payment of nearly 1k with MST 1 week ago but I do not see the 2x miles or even 1.2 miles per $1 credited to my account.

It appears that Citibank "batch posts" transactions so it might take a while before you see it. However, after 1 week, it might be good for you to give a call to the customer service to check things out, especially with Samsung MST where some transactions seem not to get the bonus points. But not having the base points as well does seem a little odd.

My bad guys. It seems my transaction wasn't billed yet. Still under pending.
Don't know why this merchant not interested in collecting money sooner. :D

Well I did not apply for this card earlier because it is unsuitable for me to earn more points. For this card, Citibank website states:

"Earn 10X Rewards when you shop for clothes, bags or shoes or at department stores or online shopping websites"
All other spending, only 1 pathetic reward point.

Well, being a guy, I don't shop much for "shoes, clothes or bags".

But for this Samsung pay promotion, I am assuming that the 10x rewards(4x miles) will be for any sort of purchases? Have you seen these amount of rewards credited to you?

I should probably consider just getting it if this is the case. Got 2-3 more big purchases coming in by end year.
