Run by a coy named mdr limited, not by samsungSg service center unlikely is run by Samsung itself, likely some 3rd party companies.
The lesser service requests, the more they earn.
Where is the toothless tiger CASE? I'm sure they know of this, so why are they not demanding Samsung do the free replacement?

A few days ago, a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra user (@CoconutShawarma) tweeted that their device started showcasing weird green and pink lines across the screen after installing a new software update. Now, the user has confirmed that Samsung has replaced the screen on their affected Galaxy Note 20 Ultra for free even though the phone was out of its warranty period.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra’s display green line issue fixed for free
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra automatically started showing green and pink lines vertically across its display after installing the June 2023 security update. This issue happened in India, and this is not the first Samsung phone to struggle with this issue. Various other Galaxy smartphone users have complained about green and pink lines appearing automatically on their phone screens. However, there has been no official stance from Samsung about this issue yet. In fact, phones from other brands using Samsung Display’s OLED screens have also showcased this problem.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra user has now confirmed that the South Korean firm has replaced their phone’s OLED screen and even the battery for free, even though the device was out of warranty. It is probably because it is the company’s fault for not testing the software properly, or there could be an issue with the OLED screen.
It is good to see that Samsung cared about the user and replaced the display and the battery for free. However, if it is due to faulty software or display panel, Samsung needs to address the problem globally and do the same free replacement for all Galaxy users worldwide that have faced this issue.

Okay so I’m not the only 1 tio the $54 charge … but in this thread got people say FOC, never mention anything about $54.Just collect my note 20 ultra yesterday only paid $54 for service fees only. You all can try to send in to repair. If your note 20 ultra pass their test only need to pay $54.
no for 1st time repair. you got repair your phone before?Did you have to pay anything at all?
My phone is currently with them. They tell me the replacement screen is free, but they say my phone out of warranty, they will charge the labour for the repair … $54.
Nope … straight tell me that, while they will provide the new screen part for free, since my phone is out of warranty they will charge labour $54.no for 1st time repair. you got repair your phone before?
