Sandisk SG cannot help cos they officially do not sell the item in SG so must RMA via USA website....
To give you an understanding of how the RMA works, I summarized the following example...
1) Your unit encountered fault.
2) Correspondence between Sandisk USA and yourself via email.
3) Sandisk USA agreed that your unit is beyond email and technical assistance / instructions.
4) Sandisk USA will require you to send the unit back to an approved service centre (may not be in USA).
5) (YOUR ONLY COSTS INVOLVED IN ANY POSSIBLE RMA) : Send back the player to the destination via registered mail out from SINGPOST. (around S$6)
6) After repair, the said service centre will mail back the player to your address at their expense.
Hi, does anyone know of a physical shop that sells sansa clip zip/clip+/fuze? (Sim Lim Square maybe?)
I'd like to go down to ask if I could try their sansa players for myself.
Doesn't really matter if its more expensive than buying online, just looking to try out, not buy.
Or are sansa players available in SG only through trading forums.
if anyone is interested i sent my clip zip to hongkong today for $6
i sent mine to HK for RMA about 3weeks ago by SingPost registered mail, no more than $5, including the bubble-pack envelope.
