Actually SBF costs as much as resale flats in the same vicinity (no point comparing non mature with mature estates). But we prefer SBF because of the fresh 99 years lease.

But!! What about those repossessed flats sold in SBF? Those are old flats too, and some sort renovated (u have to hack and redo), and u can't view the unit physically before u buy.

I'm just curious why people still prefer SBF than resale? Is it really a lot cheaper (same location)?

(I just applied for the latest SBF for fun since everybody said it's hard to get).

some ppl is like that. sold by pap means endorsed liao. safe to buy.

Me too, last round Nov Bto application no letter received. This time received letter.

No diff one..Last time when i apply for my BTO, also some receive(me) and some never..

I just received my letter from HDB too, mentioning they've received the application.

Wondering if the results will be out after tomorrow HDB website update...hmm

this is my first time applying for SBF, last round applied ROF and invited for appointment but units left weren't what we wanted.

I don't think results will be out during the weekends though. Most likely Monday or Tuesday hopefully!

I had letters that HDB received our applications before. But in the end we didn't even get any queue number cos the numbers were too huge. Hahaha. It's just a letter to notify us only I suppose. My 5th time applying for a bto/SBF.

Usually those whom fail to receive letter are due to their area postman throwing away their mails.

First letter from HDB will always be the acknowledgement of application letter.

Second letter will be the results of your application. Unsuccessful applications will receive a try again letter, while successful applications will receive a queue number and a HDB appointment date.

Near parents house hahaha. Everyday to and fro for kids. Stay at central also no use because have to go parents house then to work. Tiring.

Jurong, because near my in-laws and my husband is the only son. Competition is fierce though, hopefully I can get a number within units. Do you guys think the results will be out today?

Applied for Sembawang, 4rm. Looking at Canberra, but out of 29 units, 455 people applied.. one of the highest application rate for non-mature estate..

Haha yeah definitely painful but I expected the results won't be out during weekends so it was okay. I think the wait only became painful after receiving the HDB letters because it's now the anxious period haha.
