DBS already revise and make the 5% online case rebate permanent, no more points though.
SCB is the worst in fx transactions. Total 3% fee.I am considering getting the Spree as I buy online through Paypal often.
My question is - Paypal's exchange rate for SGD > USD is terrible. Usually, I use DBS's exchange rate as it's lower than Paypal. Do credit cards charge more for exchange fees than debit cards?

cant think of any that posts same day for online
usually it's posted T+2
Thanks, you are right.3.5% fee for foreign transaction
Anyone experience late posting of transactions for this period? I'm not sure it's bank side or merchant side.

Thanks. I am not talking about fx transaction though. I am talking about exchange rate.
Afaik, DBS has their own exchange rate of SGD > USD which is better than Paypal.
I can't find a Standard Chartered Singapore link that tells me what's their exchange rate though.
Right now, 100 SGD gets me 73.47 USD for DBS.
100 SGD gets me 73.47 USD for OCBC.
100 SGD gets me 72.10 USD for Paypal which is disgustingly low. I want to check if SC gives me a rate comparable to OCBC or DBS.
when using credit card, exchange rate from visa/master/amex etc is used, and on top of that there is foreign currency exchange fee (eg 2.8% for dbs visa/masters, 3.5% for scb)

So essentially, what you're saying is:
1) If I have a DBS mastercard, and a DBS credit card - I would get a less favorable rate if I am using the credit card?
2) If I have a DBS credit card and a SCB credit card - I would get a less favorable rate if I am using the SCB credit card?
what you mean by "DBS mastercard"? debit card?
Yeah debit card.
