I see, I always see cashback as an off set to your next bill and not as a form of payment for current bill. I feel uncomfortable paying anything than the statement balance fearing that it will be treated as underpayment. You could be right though. I will only pay outstanding if I plan not on using the card anymore in the future.

That's correct, just pay the offset outstanding will do, no need pay full, tried.

Submission is not necessary unless there is a change in income/employment.

I just requested yesterday (have existing SCB cc and CASA), didn't request for anything. See how.

thx. scb multiple lapses, not the first time had problem with them. when asked for updates, throw me lots of rubbish request with cut and paste info that can fill 2 pages. i just reapply and hope no more nonsense again.

maybe they are not interested in grabbing the market from ocbc. if lapsed again, will switch to boc.

Actually it is already excluded in the T&C, if you remember the mailer received. Also suggest to delete above posts. Many banks are watching.

as others do, keep a excel of your spend & compute the rebate (7% online, 2% groceries, 0.2% others). end of month compare against actual rebate u get. If short, call CSO to request a review. If successful, get balance rebate credited within a few days.

Past 2 months, SCB has been more than fair with how they handled my requests so I have no concerns. The online merchants I patronise are pretty much the same every month.

Yes, they can go through line by line if you request for it specifically, not on the spot, but will revert in a few days.

Do you happen to know whether the rebate is rounded or truncated to 2 decimal place?
