Btw, I had also did transactions on the Accor online website using DBS live card & when i checked, they did pay the 5% rebate as an online transaction. I will use this info to dispute with SCB when they call back.
Thus lesson learnt & for the rest to be cautious & check the rebate amount, to see whether SCB is pulling a fast one on us. I know there were others in this forum in the past facing this issue & disputing about online transaction rebates....better to check to ensure you be getting what u ought to be gotten.

This is new.
I booked Accor online room reservation with DBS LF this October but it was not taken as online txn. Matter was resolved quickly after I sent DBS an secured email with Accor invoice.
Had same experience with Accor booking with Frank card last year. Was given online rebate after I called in.

Something to do with ACCOR then. How did u manage to get the invoice? Did it state as an online transaction? since both DBS & OCBC acknowledged it.

Fast. Approved same day and rec'd card in 2 working days.

I attach the email ACCOR sent me, with price stated clearly. DBS accepts it.
OCBC din ask for invoice after I called in. They do backroom check and awarded me online rebate.

So every transaction comes with two MCC? one indicate the category and anothee for online or not?

Each transaction has 1 MCC for the type of merchant, and other indicators eg online/not online

Can call bank after making transaction to see what is the MCC. Anyway the only MCC relevant to this card is groceries/ supermarket. Other than that are indicators for online, and specific services eg Vpost. No official way to check MCC before the transaction. Bank manager called back & will manually credit the cash rebate for my disputed online transaction. Note that initial response from CSO was due to merchant code..etc which I persistently refuse to accept. Persistent pays in this case. It was for a ~$400 spend which is ~$28 rebate.
For the rest, do check on your rebates regularly & query if in doubt.

Should be online. At least I confirm DBS live fresh consider it as online

I called SC and the Uber ** is on top of 7%. Should see in the next month.

I'm wondering now if I use Paypal to pay for my uber rides and Paypal is linked to my SC card, whether that Paypal transaction get 7% cash back as well as the 20%?

Anyone any idea?

i searched back my bill...yes both road tax and car insurance if paid online can.

Yes, for my case. Road Tax paid to LTA online via Onemotoring given 7% rebate.

Last time, few years back, I canceled my SCB CC because they NO LONGER consider $$ paid for "Insurance premium" for cashback calculation.

But for road tax payment, yes ... currently SCB still consider it for cashback calculation. This one, I can confirm.
