which sequence do people usually do?
Singapore - seoul - busan - Jeju - Singapore?
Or Jeju busan Seoul?
When I went to Jeju, I stayed in one hotel as I had a rental car, found that checking in and out was too much trouble and you will be wasting precious time doing that. Everyday, leave the hotel around 9am to avoid the traffic especially if you are staying in the city. For those planning jeju, will you change hotel to go round island?
I will have 4d3n at jeju (2 full days). Most of my 'must go' places are closer to airport; upper half of jeju. The lower half are good to include if time allow.
If we really do go, i think it is better to stay 1 night south considering night fall earlier in winter.
Day 1 - fly from seoul to jeju f&e
Day 2 - submarine, seongsan, costal walk,
Day 3 - ecoland, shingwan theme park
Day 4 - tangerine picking, explore left of jeju n fly back evening
Below are in plan if time allow Waterfall, Aquaplanet. Will not be going museums n folk village as we have been previously.

Was it scoot to Jeju? Only flight now is at 5am goshI did Jeju - Busan - Seoul
Is it all flights?I always put the place where I do most of my shopping last… so no need to carry all those things around changing hotels and traveling…
I.e. If shopping at Seoul… I will do SG->Busan->Jeju->Seoul-SG
Is it all flights?
there is lah. on jeju airThere is no direct flight to Busan now… so need to go Seoul first then either transit fly to Busan or take HSR from Seoul to Busan…
I think it is a good idea to stay a few nights at north and a few nights at south/west depending on the sights u want to see.For those planning jeju, will you change hotel to go round island?

We will be renting too. I worry night fall earlier so have to buffer time to drive back while still bright. When I went to Jeju, I stayed in one hotel as I had a rental car, found that checking in and out was too much trouble and you will be wasting precious time doing that. would it be better to take flight from seoul to busan or the ktx train? do help! first time goingTip? For anyone trying to do seoul Jeju Busan, might be obvious but Busan’s weekends cost quite a bit more than say Jeju or Seoul I realised.
a good touristy location / view hotel on weekend can easily be double the price for the same hotel on weekdays. ($240 for 3 nights becomes about $600 for 3 nights). So plan accordingly if possible to skip Busan on weekends. Air tickets from and out of Busan for weekends also sell out very quickly. Jeju and Seoul still not so bad rly for price difference.
boutique and nice Busan hotels that are reasonably priced sell out within hours of them being put up too. Prolly only option left is Airbnb or biz hotels
Ktx is easier.would it be better to take flight from seoul to busan or the ktx train? do help! first time going
awesome. thank you so much!Ktx is easier.
Only 2.5 to 3 hrs or so depending on the ktx train.
Some are faster than others.
great, thank you so much!!@sarahdes12 if you are going to catch ktx (which I also recommend), just make sure to be there early enough to catch them as they depart on time, otherwise you will miss it. And you will save heaps of time as no need to check in and wait for boarding...
One tip, make sure to buy some tidbits or gimbap to eat on board beforehand if you get hungry.
It is personal preference but i would prefer to break it into 2 days.Hello all! I'm travelling to South Korea 21-29 Mar.
My flight arrives ICN at 3.30pm, would it be a good idea to travel to Busan via KTX on the same day? 6 adults 2 child. Just find it abit risky and tiring since unsure on how long custom clearance will take and need to travel to Seoul Station first. If there is any delay, might miss KTX. Or should i stay near Seoul station on day of arrival and travel early next day to Busan?
Thanks in advance!
