Does the R9 pro sold in sg have the leica colour science as those in tw n jp, but just without the leica logo?

I cannot answer your question as I only have the SG version (I don't have the JP version with Leica branding). Can't compare the photo quality of the two.
But both versions should have the same camera hardware.

Has Sharp Singapore address why there's no Leica branding on the Singapore variant?

Also does the R9 PRO have dual stereo front-firing speakers? On their ads it only shows 1 speaker so does it mean a mono speaker setup?

I've also seen some of their other phones being advertised as "Made In Japan", but there's no mention of this for the R9 PRO.

It's quite an odd advertising strategy as the info given is not consistent among their phones.

There's stereo speakers, one from the earpiece and the other at the bottom. It orientates according to the direction of the phone.

No idea where it's made, even the box doesn't indicate.

No Leica branding maybe to keep cost down. Or maybe Leica gonna launch it's clone leitz phone 4 here, so prevent clash?

Doesn't explain why they can do it in Japan though.

Home ground so maybe got to give more face? Maybe the leitz phone not gonna launch there but in Europe instead, so Japan can use the branding?

It's printed on the box the R9 pro is Made in China.

Possibility due to some cost issues for using Leica branding on the device??? That could be the reason SG version is cheaper than JP & TW version with Leica branding by a few hundred dollars.
If the hardware is the same, I wouldn't mind no Leica branding on the phone when the selling price is cheaper by few hundred dollars. :)

First of all, thank you for making a comeback to the SG market after sooooo long. Just two minor suggestions for you guys:
1. More demo stores for people who wants to try the phones.
2. Partnership with local telcos.

Anyway as for Leica branding/printing. Not important as long as the HWs are the same and the price is much lower, I don't mind missing a branding on my phone exterior.

We are constantly expanding our pool of partners to have more retail outlets with demo units. Happy to report we are in the midst of installing demo units in some outlets in the West area of Singapore. As for partnership with local telcos, we should have some news in 2025 to share.

Can't speak for the future but I can confirm that all our current phones share the same or better hardware.

Can Sharp sg bring in more accessories like the magnetic ring adapter? It's what makes the phone useful and unique.
