Have to wait a bit after pressing shutter as sometimes the camera is still taking the picture.

The Challenger outlet I went to only have demo sets for R8s Pro & R9, no R9 Pro. No Leica branding as well.

Hmm.. looks punchy but not over the top.
i read it got standard & dynamic mode just like xiaomi authentic & vivid. so if in dynamic mode, punchy colors are ok.

just for comparison with my 13T

can shoot some closeup to see how good it can pick details?
shoot direct at light spots see how well it handle the flares?

thanks!

It has natural and dynamic mode. Mine was taken in natural mode. I think your Xiaomi pic white balance is too cool to compensate for the warm light which is prevalent in the Buddha tooth relic temple. Sharp retains the mood and colour better. The Xiaomi also brings out more of the shadows which makes it look flatter and less contrasty than the Sharp. So the Sharp pics look like it was taken with a camera rather than a phone, like Sony Xperia. While pics taken with other brands like pixel, iphone and Samsung, tend to raise midtones and shadows a lot to achieve that HDR look, which I feel does not look so nice as it makes pictures look flat and washed out.

The Sharp sometimes get it wrong also. For eg. The pic below has a too cool white balance as it struggled to balance with the warm light inside.
