As the x200 series was not sold in Singapore, mine is a set from China.
Better get Vivo phones with International Funtouch OS instead of China Origin OS.

Origin has a lot of China domestic apps integrated instead of the usual Google ecosystem apps.
You can still install Google Play & apps but it takes a bit to get used to Origin OS.

Definitely worth it as it was less than S$900.

Vivo global phones (x300 series onwards) is running on Origin OS, no more funtouch Liao

I was wondering if anyone knows when the r10s pro or equivalent flagship phone might be released.

I'm curious because my r8s pro battery is getting a bit weaker , so slowly checking out specs of other phones in case I need replacement.

As of late February 2026 IMEI database filings, three new devices from Sharp (SH-M34, SH-M35 & SH-M36) has been registered, but no indication on the launch dates and specifications yet. Looking at the model numbers (SH-M34SG, SH-M34TW, SH-M35SG, SH-M35TW, SH-M36SG & SH-M36TW), it looks like SG & TW models.

not trying to sound sarcastic, but why continue supporting a brand that uses lower quality Chipset ?

my wifu still has it till now, photos arent screaming bangers, but decent only.... however the phone experience has been, meh... when it comes to connectivity and NFC........

Sounds like we have different criteria in a phone.

I want a SD card slot, 3.5mm jack and an IP rating. I don't play difficult games or do things needing huge processing. Very few phones have these nowadays, let alone at a non flagship price like Sony Xperia I series.

The r8s pro is very far from perfect, but it has what I want. I can live with the imperfections.


Out of interest, has anyone tried pairing their Sharp phones up with a Sharp LCD screen for mirroring, watching movies etc from phone to big screen, etc? I saw there's even 32 inch Sharp LCD for around 250 bucks SGD now

There hasn't been any rumors of a R10 Pro model in the works. Sharp isn't listed as one of the partners to get the latest Snapdragon Elite chipsets.

And the most recent model released was the Wish 5s (SH-M34TW) which came out in Taiwan. Not sure if they might do a Sense10s and a R10s based on the M35 and M36 number. I think the standard R10 or next R11 model might be their highest end model going forward. Also, the R9 models have dropped the 3.5mm port. So you'll need the usb-c dongle to convert if you're a 3.5mm jack supporter.

The main thing that drops Sharp off my future list are their slow Android monthly updates (4-6 months behind) is just a no no in an era where we use our phones for iBanking & NFC payments.

Does anybody sync their Sharp phone with a Sharp LCD screen, like Samsung phones and screens can?

I am using R9 Pro.
Is anyone having some Bluetooth audio problem where bluetooth headset audio is working but microscope is not? I tried at least 3 headphones but i can't find the settings.
