Did you reinstall OS, and are you using the SSD that came with it? I did not manage to find anything because I immediately removed and sold the SSD. Installed my own SSD and performed a clean OS installation. I am also somewhat paranoid, that’s why I prefer a clean slate.
did not reinstall OS and yes using the SSD that came with it, would you recommend reinstalling a clean OS?

Just bought maibenben recently and immediately downloaded avast and malwarebytes to scan. Just a paranoid habit of mine. Avast didn't find anything but malwarebytes detected 4x PUP.optional.Ludashi so just sharing with everyone here to scan your mini-pc upon receiving. Not very happy with this as I do not have any files on it at all.
All prebuilt comes with preinstalled things. Even windows 10 image comes with unwanted software.

For me, I will recommend a clean OS installation.

I agree with Yusoff as well that most systems come with a lot of preinstalled software, which may look harmless on the surface. But a lot of them are also "stealing" information from your system, though in a "legit" way. So that's why clean installation is the best.

Anyone got his Tiny M75q2 cancelled?
Ordered late May and got charged 2 days ago.
ETA shifted from Sept to Nov and yesterday to July.
Today email me said worldwide wireless shortage....

compensate me with a useless 5% discount code..

if no rush just wait for next year model with 5nm, ddr5 and rdna2
But that will be expensive right?

Actually while waiting for Tiny, I had think of Apple M1 macbook but afraid cannot get used to their OS or a i5 1140, 11700 with itx with thunderbolt.
I don't game, so can save on GPU.

If you go with an M1 MacBook Air, I think it is a good buy. I've been using it for 3 months now. To be honest, most OS are designed quite closely, so it should not be that difficult to get used to it. The only thing I struggle is the shortcut keys that I am so used to on Windows. So when I go to Microsoft Office applications, I stumble big time.

Did you go for this in the end? Specs look really good for a mini pc.

Planning to preorder it for my son. The higher spec variant with 32GB RAM would cost slightly lesser than SGD$1.2K (USD$829 + free worldwide shipping + custom tax).

nope I didn’t get it

I think there is a shortage of Intel Wifi card that may be causing the delay.

and more expensive if i buy deskmini and 4650g individually
i suggest u dont buy deskmini. i had to rma twice. the motherboard doesnt last 1 year. i sold off after the second rma. both a300 and x300 deskmini is the same hardware in a different case. asrock even accidentally release 4000 series firmware in a beta a300 bios.
