I think this price is barebone right? Should not have any Ram nor SSD. I am wondering if we need to buy wifi card or it has one inside. Looking forward to receive the unit and see what we are getting for this price.

I noticed they put RAM and SSD as optional... so I assume it is barebones.

I also ordered it for fun even though I don't really need haha...

4k hevc has never been an issue since 2016. now 2022 liao

2016 that was RTX 1060-1080 series isn't it?
With that in mind, am I right to say even RTX 3060 is more than enough for watching 10bit HDR content in 4K x265 encoded formats on local (not streaming)? Thanks for any advice!

My old laptop runs on i7 Q720 @ 1.6ghz, 8gb of ram and Geforce GTX 260M 4GB.

Most of the time I just browse the net, use Microsoft office, youtube and netflix.

I do game occasionally like old school games L4D, TF2 and those classic old games.

Can you guys recommend me a mini pc that wont cost me more than $400?

One last thing, I owned a Lenovo thinpad yoga 420 and one day it just overheated and died. Brought it to fix but most likely the motherboard is fried. I was playing games on it before it hung and died.

Will this Lenovo suffer the same fate? I am having a bit of a phobia to game on laptop.

u can buy asus pn51. 6 core 5500u for 599 or 8 core 5700u for 699. then buy ram, 8gb $40 x 2 sticks and ssd.

Ya.. but for $280 for that athlon 3150U chip and full laptop. Cant find any cheaper ard. Those that u mention is 2x the cost. Of cos the 3150u chip is for relax web surf, 4k video and like word excel work.

But $280 for 3150u, ips 15.6" lcd, upgradable ram, nvme and m2 sata and wifi card and also support usb c charging and backlight keyboard.

For simple work and for the price its cheap.
