it is ok to get 1 edition down. To be honest, the textbook was barely used. Depending on ur ESL lecturer, some of them don't even use it even though they ask you to get the book. After 2 semester you will realise people stop buying textbooks. You can also google and download pdf versions of some textbooks.
There is also a fb page selling second hand books, ask ur OGL to add you in the group :D

btw can I ask, did you get any exemptions at all?

Yeah looking at the fb pages..yup i am waived 4 gen ed mods and all free electives plus 2 mods from IT concentration(if i choose that)

Sadly no it isn`t okay to get 1 edition down, at least for my case/instructor. I heard that some of the instructors are okay with it though. Hmm I have 40 credits waivered off.

I didn't see any of you!! ): till now i don't even know how many credits am I waived.

Hmm all i know is..i transferred 108 credits..minimum is 120 creds to graduate:) But of course need to complete my major and non waived Gen ed. Concentration is optional:D

Wow that`s a lot of credits! Hmm well I was infront of you, although that`s kinda not giving a lot of info since you were sitting at the back row. LOL.

Wait I was in micro class today too! The only guy with a cap in class. Hahaha

I got 97 credits waived.

Hey guys, I have just gotten my offer for UB and would like to ask if anyone knows when is the deadline for acceptance? Currently I have also applied for RMIT so I would like to be able to know if I have time to wait for RMIT's response before accepting.

Yup I did attend the workshop in Friday. I was sitting at the left side of the LT and quite far at the back. I came in just before the workshop started hahaha. I think I only got waived for math mod and all my free electives.
