hi guys! i just recently got an offer for the UOL econs&fin program. but i'm in a dilemma. should i continue with uol or wait until feb 2013 and go to university of melbourne? i'm 20 this year btw so i'd be 21 if i start uni in melb..

It's up to you. Whether you prefer the UK system (100% examination based) or the aussie system, which is part assignment part exam based.

Also IMO, age isn't a matter. It's how you go about spending your life. If money isn't an issue, I'd suggest you go to Melbourne. The experience there should be wonderful

Age shouldn't be a problem. The real thing is that u must have passion to study what u wanna study, so that u will put in the effort and time, also is what type of method u are more suitable to, UK is like exam-based, but Aussie is part exam part project-based. So it's really up to u to go and decide which suits u best.

Can do well if i study. But i don't like maths. generally anything to do with calculating. haha

eCR will start on 18 jul and last till 25 jul. Now gotta start thinking about planning timetable.

Anyone know if the timetable selection is first come first basis? Like the first to choose has more time slot to choose then those who choose late?

hi, i think it really depends on what you really like (between e&f and the course that you are gg to chose in uni of melbourne). it really does not matter what age you are because as long as u are doing something you love, you won't regret it. maybe you could talk to your parents and friends to get more opinions?

the course i'm going to be taking in melbourne will also be econs and finance. i talked to my friends and they said i shouldn't be wasting time anymore :/

hey thank you. well all my life i have been in the uk education system. so i don't know if i will be used to the australian system. ya i heard melbourne is a good place too.

i have tried the uk method. never tried the australian method so i don't know which one i will like best. i have no problem with the uk system though.
