Haha. Some thinks LTE is inferior to 4G lor. Haha.LTE is the same as 4G, it's just up to the telco whether they want to use LTE or 4G in the status bar

The same zero1 SIM card, a Singtel mvno , on poco f3 shows LTE. On iPhone, it shows 4G. Haha. Who said they are different.Quote:
Are 4G and LTE the same?
So, what's the difference between 4G and LTE, and is 4G or LTE better?
In short, 4G offers a much faster speed, more stability and access to a larger variety of online activities. LTE is a half-point between 3G and 4G, so its performance suffers compared to the fourth generation.
Interesting video. I think SIMBA was named after a dog!

This is true for the US but LTE = 4G for us. And LTE-A is 4G+Quote:

I read from somewhere stating that LTE is subset of the 4G mobile network. This is true for the US but LTE = 4G for us. And LTE-A is 4G+
Simba is on both
Oh! so you are saying that both speed test results are the same? The thing is Simba appears as 4g+ on my Android and LTE on my iPhone. Yet their speed is comparable

That means 4G+ = LTE instead of 4G = LTE, am I correct?yeap! Despite android having that advantage of connecting to a 4.5G network
4G (fourth generation of mobile network technology) and LTE (Long-Term Evolution) are not the same, but they are related. 4G is a mobile network technology while LTE is a type of 4G network technology. In simpler terms, LTE is a subset of 4G technology. The same zero1 SIM card, a Singtel mvno , on poco f3 shows LTE. On iPhone, it shows 4G. Haha. Who said they are different.
So to layman, 4G = LTE. LTE, LTE+, 4G or 4G+ all have the same speed in SG. How they work in the backend may differ but to end users no one needs to care.
To a layman, as long as they received good cell signal reception, they will not be bothered whatever speed derive from LTE, LTE-A, 4G or 4G+.So to layman, 4G = LTE. LTE, LTE+, 4G or 4G+ all have the same speed in SG. How they work in the backend may differ but to end users no one needs to care.
Yes, that's what I have read from some article.4G (fourth generation of mobile network technology) and LTE (Long-Term Evolution) are not the same, but they are related. 4G is a mobile network technology while LTE is a type of 4G network technology. That is correct, so there’s no need to complain if one sees 4G or LTE. It did not matter. To a layman, as long as they received good cell signal reception, they will not be bothered whatever speed derive from LTE, LTE-A, 4G or 4G+.
Most importantly is what speed we ate getting. The indicator 4G LTE or 10G so what? The same zero1 SIM card, a Singtel mvno , on poco f3 shows LTE. On iPhone, it shows 4G. Haha. Who said they are different.
Yup, good cell signal reception is all they care. That is correct, so there’s no need to complain if one sees 4G or LTE. It did not matter.
