Don't forget iPhone, iPad use separate APN for tethering and data. So you would need to set twice if trying to use connection sharing.

Err....Free Wi-Fi...!🥶 Not in my dictionary! 🥶Dangerous sia! 🤖

Anyway, chop chop karipok! 😙 My primary line is coming back to SIMBA tonight as well! 🤭

5G SA or NSA to me! It's "over-speed" for me! I don't need it for my usages! Save up some pocket money to buy Happy Meals! 🍔🍟 😙

All websites and apps logins run over https now, this is not the same wild wild west plaintext era as 20 years ago. ;)

IMHO.
Also there is VPN.

Well, with so much data available now, i guess there is no need to use free wifi. but if overseas and need to use, just be careful. u never know if ur link is http or https.

not everyone has vpn, and even have, need to remember to turn it on too.

Yup. The apps don't state http or https. We just assume it's secure.
Surfing can use free wifi, but anything more sensitive, I still prefer to use data.

I don’t know about Google, but Apple has required all apps to use https since 2017.

Besides, it’s a common misconception that if your wifi access point is using security, your data is safe. Eh hello, I still can sniff your plaintext data from the router side if I own the access point. You sure your random coffeeshop, “secure” public wifi access points are all put up by good samaritans?

What phone are you using? Simba only supports 5G on a very very tiny list of phones from Vivo and the Mate 40 Pro.
