the problem with sg telcos is they want to milk as much as possible out of esim. esim should be free like psim.
Even if they want to charge, make it easy for me to give them money by offering a digital, self-serve solution.

Think of all the money they are losing because it’s so troublesome 😆

Amazing grown up Simbarella!

Her everything have gotten bigger in size! 🤭😏

Same spot and same time. It used to be between just 50-60mpbs of Download. The Upload speed has improved very significantly as well!

She has really grown up!
Almost choked on my coffee while reading this. You said this many times before porting.

So there is no option for 3G fallback when roaming right ?

I heard that traffic light telcos support wifi calling only within SG. Is it the same for MVNOs ? Is there such limitation for Simba ?
Also wifi calling on Simba is only supported on Android right ? No luck on iPhone yet ?
There is definitely 3G and 2G roaming. For example, I went to Malaysia on SIMBA roaming, some places I was on EDGE. Very slow download speed, but not 0. Also in Thailand was able to get 3G in remote areas.
But I did not try to make phone calls. I guess phone calls would not be supported.

When overseas, volte support is decided by local carriers. Many cases they have volte for home users, but not for roaming users. In this case, SIMBA cannot call

So 3G fallback for data works, but voice probably not.
Anyone managed to have 3G voice call while roaming ?

how is the simba roaming network in china? Does it works in guangzhou?
Personal experience (from 2023 and 2024), signal strength is ok, mostly 4-5bars, but data speed seems very slow. sending photos over wechat takes minutes (tested on China Mobile and Unicom). Able to receive calls.
(I was not in Guangzhou but I think place is not that relevant)

If I'm on 90 days plan, what is the latest day I can change the plan?

If I change on day 85, is it too late?

Also for the 400 mins IDD, do I call using VOLTE? Or call as per normal?
