Hi, is it just me, or has the SIMBA network been unstable recently? I've been noticing that even though my phone shows a 5G/4G connection, I often can't access the internet. Sometimes, I need to toggle airplane mode on and off to get the connection working again. This issue happens quite frequently, especially when traveling along the Circle Line between Paya Lebar and Buona Vista.

I've been with SIMBA since the beginning and never experienced this until recently.

For reference, I'm using a Samsung S23 Ultra.

How's the network on all singapore location, from underground, on the ground, hdb ans shoppings? Also can simba monthly deduct my money rather manually top up monthly?

Ok so does it mean I don't have to turn on roaming while in MY?

Or have it on and it'll detect MY networks and not count as roaming data?

if the phone is not in roaming mode, it will not connect to any network. h/w will always override s/w.

Do not confuse (line/network) roaming and data roaming.

They deduct my CC monthly without top up. The network is.. okay la. It’s not unusable, but not the speed you’re familiar with. I did notice that certain harder to reach spots like new mall underground or shophouses inside, Simba can scan menu but m1 or StarHub cannot

1 Jan is PH probably tonight if you are lucky. Porting usually may happens on Sat or not ... since it is half business day

it will take longer after the recent upgrade . simba is too cheap to be true

Working days only... you're porting in at a busy period... could take a few working days...

Still M1 Maxx as of 7pm today … guess it’s better luck on Mon now

have you collected your simba sim card already? what happen to me is that i ported but did not go collect the simcard with the letter after a few days. once collected the sime card, porting was done on the same day (night) as i collected the simba sim card and old sim card was not able to use the next day , inserted simba sim card and it was working.

you might get some teething issues, but it will be resolved after a few days.

The SIM card is with me, the request was done at the outlet and they gave us the SIM card on the spot.

It hasn’t been inserted into a phone however … is that needed? I assumed that once the phone the M1 Maxx SIM card is in no longer shows network then I’ll take it out and put the Simba SIM in.

Can you activate an e-SIM from overseas or must it be done in Singapore? (ie need to connect to SIMBA network in the country)

you can link it to debit/credit card for auto deduction.

i 1 time load 6mths worth of credit into the account for deductions. no issues

in this case, you want want to check with simba at the FB page or FB messanger.

no need to perform activations steps. i did not do for all the simba cards

Nope, from my knowledge all activation have to be in SG due to IMDA regulation.
Correct me if I am wrong please.

Hmm okay … I came across a guide talking about submitting port request online, after go & collect the SIM need to do some activation steps from there then 2 days for the number to port. But mine is done the port at the outlet itself.
